Pub Quiz for Jack in the Green
The quiz is back! Gather your cleverest friends and form a team for a pub quiz!
All proceeds go towards keeping the Whitstable Jack-in-the-Green procession going. Come and do your bit while puzzling over a bit of trivia in the lovely Duke of Cumberland pub on Whistable High Street.
With prizes, games and brain-tickling questions, the quiz is hosted by Linguist Laura, host of sell-out quizzes in Margate and Whitstable.
£3 per person entry, teams of up to six. We begin promptly at 7.30pm so make sure you arrive in good time.
(If you can’t make it but want to bung some money our way, there’s also a donation option which doesn’t buy you a ticket but does allow you to contribute.)

PS we need STEWARDS on the big day, can you help?
Stewards are a vital part of the day, helping to keep the procession safe and moving to schedule. You will need to be over 18 years old, reliable, and physically able to walk the whole length of the route from the library to the castle, sometimes moving up and down the procession to convey messages from one end to the other. You don’t need any experience in doing this kind of job, though it’s very welcome if you do. You’ll need to be comfortable taking instructions from the Events manager and conveying them to the dancers and musicians in an efficient and clear way. Most importantly, you will need to be free and able to be in Whitstable on Monday 4th May from around 9am until around 3pm. It’s a really fun job and we’ll provide all the training you need, a hi-vis vest, and fish & chips at the end!
